Park Hyatt St. Kitts Review

My Thoughts & Why I think this Resort is a Great Stay

I visited Park Hyatt St. Kitts in November 2025, and it’s one of those resorts that truly surprised me in the best way. Set along the secluded sands of Banana Bay, the resort feels refined yet relaxed from the moment you arrive. Opened in 2017 and part of both Virtuoso and Hyatt Privé, it offers a polished luxury experience with an authentic island feel—making it a wonderful choice for couples, food lovers, and families alike.

Here’s what to love:

Why Park Hyatt St. Kitts Stands Out

  • Breathtaking setting: Unobstructed views across the Caribbean Sea to neighboring Nevis—sunrise and sunset here are unforgettable.

  • Effortless luxury: Contemporary interiors with a relaxed island vibe; elegant without feeling formal.

  • A foodie’s delight: Seven dining and drinking venues featuring local ingredients, freshly caught seafood, St. Kitts–inspired menus, and international favorites. Every meal was delicious, beautifully presented, and thoughtfully curated.

  • Fantastic for families: A complimentary kids club makes this an easy choice for multi-generational travel.

  • So much to do—without ever leaving the resort:

    • An astronomer hosted a stargazing evening with a large telescope set up at the resort.

    • Morning yoga at the serene Sugar Mill Sanctuary.

    • Wonderful spa treatments at the Sugar Mill Spa & Sanctuary.

    • Fun, unexpected experiences like the Topgolf Swing Suite, Zombie Dodgeball game, and pickleball courts.

  • Easy island hopping: An 8-minute water taxi brings you to the charming sister island of Nevis—perfect for a half-day adventure.

Good to know: Cars drive on the left in both St. Kitts and Nevis.

Tennis, Pickle, Spa, or Nothing at All

  • Tennis & Pickleball courts

  • Spa lovers—head straight to the wood-paneled spa sanctuary for hydrotherapy, massages, or simply some quiet time in a plush robe.

  • Prefer to do absolutely nothing? Relax by the beach or pool and enjoy attentive food and drink service, with refreshments delivered directly to your cabana or poolside.

  • Permission to relax: granted.

Worthwhile Island Experiences

  • Brimstone Hill Fortress & National Park: A beautifully preserved 17th-century fortress (dating to the 1690s). Standing there, it’s impossible not to imagine the historic battles once fought from its walls. They also have a restaurant & the food was surprisingly good!

  • Fairview Great House: A restored 1701 colonial plantation offering a fascinating glimpse into Caribbean history. Visiting sparked reflections on the British families—especially women—whose lives changed dramatically upon arriving on the island

Zoombie Dodgeball was hands down the clear winner on “What was the Most Hilarious Activity” while at the resort.
